Reporting directly to the founders, the e-commerce manager will be responsible for all e-commerce platforms of the company, their evolution, the definition and implementation of digital communication strategies aligned with the priorities and objectives determined by those who are responsible.

  • Ensure continuous improvement of the user experience and ensure the “avant-garde” of all platforms;
  • Manage the entire digital marketing team;
  • Develop and execute communication and marketing plans;
  • Develop and ensure the implementation of innovative and relevant digital strategies improving the acquisition and retention of customers;
  • Hire and manage the team to implement these strategies;
  • Accompany the leadership in the strategic thinking of a high-level areas for all brands owned by Golf Avenue;
  • Identify relevant tools and methodologies Golf Avenue should implement to achieve its objectives;
  • Manage the relationship with various technological partners;
  • Act as an expert and collaborate with professionals in the implementation, monitoring, measurement and optimization of organic SEO strategies (SEO) and Paid (SEM);
  • Establish and maintain relevant performance reports for all digital activities;
  • Analyze, monitor and constantly improve reporting capabilities to reflect the impact on objectives;
  • Be proactive in bringing new solutions to adjust strategies based on the results obtained;
  • Ensure growth and community involvement on social medias;
  • Help promote a stimulating work environment that recognize accomplishments and dedication;
  • Ensure the optimal use of resources regarding marketing efforts;

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, e-commerce, information technology or any other relevant discipline;
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in managing digital projects / e-commerce;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in team management;
  • Outsourcing personnel management experience - an asset;
  • Experience in launching and marketing of new products / services - an asset;
  • Have built and executed many integrated communication plans;
  • Extensive experience in SEO, SEM, online advertising buying & placement;
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Adwords, DBM;
  • Good knowledge of Magento;
  • Thorough knowledge of mass email tools (eg. CakeMail, MailChimp or other);
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel / Office Suite / Google Spreadsheets;
  • Excellent understanding and experience using automation tools and CRM;
  • High resistance to stress and tight deadlines;
  • Be proactive and focused on achieving results;
  • Excellent organizational skills, abilities recognized interpersonal and team spirit;
  • Technology oriented and constantly looking for the latest trends;
  • Past or present experience in advertising agency - an asset;
  • Experience in traditional advertising (billboards, TV, radio, newspapers, etc.) - an asset;
  • Good understanding of AGILE methodologies - an asset;
  • Great understanding and experience using project management tools (eg. Asana, JIRA, etc.) - an asset;
  • Good understanding and interest for the Golf industry - an asset;
  • Bilingual oral and written (French and English) - Advanced level required;
